Stop it Goaltending has experienced tremendous success in developing goaltenders of all levels and abilities. Stop It Goaltending summer camps and clinics have been instrumental in the development of twenty-five NHL draft picks and over one hundred goalies that have gone on to play Junior, College and Professional hockey. We are extremely proud of the success of these goaltenders, but we are equally proud of the instruction we provide the Youth Hockey goalie; nurturing and maximizing individual abilities to help them achieve the most success and the greatest enjoyment possible from their experience between the pipes...in the greatest position in all of sports.

Selecting a Summer Program or Clinic:
Stop It Goaltending provides training opportunities for goalies of all levels and abilities. The following is a quick guide to selecting a training program. In order to help navigate the many options, we have separated the programs by level and by one week and eight-week programs. Below is a description of our programs and links for you to go directly to that programs web page for more information or to our registration page. Extended Day and Boarding programs:
Stop It Goaltending offers Extended Day as well as Boarding programs at our Merrimack College, North Andover location. Extended day is offered during the Leadership, AAA, Total Skills as well as High School training weeks. Extended day begins at 8:30 AM and ends at 12:30 PM when the goalies hit the ice. The daily schedule includes cross training, stretching, video and goaltending theory classroom sessions as well as lunch at the Merrimack College cafeteria.
Our boarding options at Merrimack College include the GCG Men and GCG Women’s training weeks as well as the Elite programs for High School, Junior, College and Pro goalies. We also offer AAA Boarding and High School Boarding programs as well as the 1 on1 Training Weeks. Stop It Goaltending boarders stay in the Merrimack College dorms, dine at the MC cafeteria and have a complete schedule of daily activities as well as 24/7 supervision.

AAA Training Week
(Extended Day Option)
The Stop It Goaltending AAA Training Week is one of our most popular programs. This week allows talented and motivated goaltenders to be on the ice together and be challenged with progressive techniques and drills. AAA Training Week is intended for AAA, AA, Select, Tier 1 and Club goalies, Mites through Bantams. The program is run Monday through Thursday and includes a daily schedule of 2.5 hours of on-ice training and 2.5 hours of off-ice speed, quickness and agility training.

The Stop It Goaltending Total Skills Training Week is provided for Mite through Bantam goalies of all abilities. This program teaches goaltenders all the fundamentals and more in an energized and dynamic environment. The program is run Monday through Thursday at both Merrimack College and the Foxboro Sports Center and includes a daily schedule of 2.5 hours of on-ice training and 2.5 hours of off-ice speed, quickness and agility training.

2012 GCG Youth Prospects
Camp
(5 Day Boarding)
At the GCG Youth Prospects camp Goalies will receive instruction from leading Canadian and American goalie coaches including five NCAA Hockey East,ECAC and Atlantic Hockey league goalie coaches. Along with dynamic on ice training sessions goalies attend off-ice lectures and diverse off-ice training experiences such as yoga and mixed martial arts training. Each day includes two-hours of instruction on-ice, two hours of off-ice training, as well as a daily lectures, video session and group activity. Tuesday and Thursday consists of a second on-ice session in the early evening.
During the week, participating goalies will stay in the Merrimack College dorms and eat at the MC cafeteria while under 24/7 supervision. This is a great opportunity for motivated goalies to immerse themselves in goaltending for the week!

Stop It Goaltending is proud to offer a boarding program designed to give goalies one-on-one individual attention focusing directly on each goaltender's skill development. This program includes a one-goalie-to-one-instructor ratio, two on-ice workouts daily as well as off-ice training, video and classroom sessions. During the week, participating goalies will stay in the Merrimack College dorms and eat at the MC cafeteria while under 24/7 supervision.

Program
Once again this summer Stop It Goaltending will be conducting an evening version of its highly successful DNHL program for Bantam level goalies. There are sixteen on-ice sessions included, as well as sixteen sessions off-ice training. The off-ice training includes speed, quickness and agility drills as well as body weight strength exercises. The DNHL Bantam level is a great bridge from our one week Summer programs into our High School level opportunities.

The Stop It Goaltending High School training program is designed for motivated High School and Prep school goalies aiming to maximize their development. The week has been one of our most popular programs for the past five summers. Each day goalies will be on the ice for 2.5 hours and off the ice for 2.5 hours. The off-ice training includes speed, quickness and agility drills as well as strength and conditioning exercises.

Performance Week
(3 Day Boarding Option)
The Stop It Goaltending Performance Week is a four day program for 92-'93-'94-'95 and 96 birth year goalies. Last Summer, 19 Division I coaches came to view the goalies train in a series of on-ice drills that focus on game situations with an emphasis of battling to stop pucks. Participants also attend coaches' lectures each day and participate in off-ice training.
The Stop It Goaltending Performance Week is a tremendous opportunity for coaches to evaluate 24 goalies on the ice at one time and in a number of challenging scenarios.

Performance Week
(3 Day Boarding Option)
The Stop It Goaltending Prep School Performance Week is a four day program for goalies interested in attending and learning more about Prep School and Junior Hockey. Last Summer, sixteen different Prep school coaches were on hand to evaluate the goaltenders throughout the week.
The program consists of competitive drills on the ice as well an off-ice speed, quickness and agility off-ice component. Goalies will also hear presentations from prep school coaches each day. Please note that this is a performance oriented week and not a training week and is limited to 24 goalies.

2012 Stop It Goaltending Junior/College/Pro Preparation Week
The Stop It Goaltending Junior/College/Pro Training Week is intended for serious goaltenders that are prepared to take a week to improve on their game and get ready for the season. This program includes daily on off-ice training as well as video and classroom sessions. The roster includes a combination of Junior, Division I,III and minor league pro goaltenders. Goalies must be 18 years of age or older to register. During the week, participating goalies will eat lunch at the Merrimack College cafeteria.

The GCG Prospects Week is arguably the top goalie training in North America. This week is for top college and pro prospects that are currently playing in High School, Prep, Midget, Junior or College hockey and is held at Merrimack College in North Andover, MA.
The week features 16 goalie coaches from across North America and Europe who are part of the prestigious Goaltending Consultant Group, as well as guest lecturers which include current and former NHL goalies, mental edge coaches, NHL scouts and NHL goalie coaches.

Once again GCG is offering a Women’s Training week for top female goaltending prospects! Dave Flint, USA Olympic Team assistant coach and head goaltending instructor, joins Brian Daccord and leading GCG coaches in offering a week of on-ice instruction, off-ice training and lectures from some of the most knowledgeable experts in goaltending and training today. This Sunday through Friday program will be held at Merrimack College in North Andover, MA and is limited to only 24 goalies.

During the week, participating goalies will stay in the Merrimack College dorms and eat at the MC cafeteria.

DNHL Program
This program is geared for motivated Bantam, High School/Prep, College and Junior goalies that are committed to a summer of serious on and off-ice training. Training is provided by Brian Daccord, John Carratu and the Stop It Goaltending Staff. The program runs Monday through Thursday for eight weeks and there are AM, PM and Bantam options.
The DNHL program is held at both Merrimack College and the Foxboro Sports Center. The DNHL is in its 11th year and has produced some of the best college goaltenders in the country, as well as NHL, AHL and Minor League pro goaltenders.

Program
The Stop It Goaltending Pro Goalie Development program is for Junior, College and Pro goalies and consists of two weekly on-ice sessions. There is a maximum of 12 goalies on the ice at a time at each session and every goalie that participates must first be accepted into the program. The PGD program is held at both Merrimack College and the Foxboro Sports Center. Groups are Mondays and Wednesdays or Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Program
The Stop It Goaltending Total Goaltending Development program is for High School age goaltenders from outside the Boston area that are looking for the total goaltending experience. This four week program consists of five ice sessions per week as well as daily off-ice training and assisting at the weekly Stop It Goaltending Youth Programs. The cost of the four week program includes housing and meals five days a week at Merrimack College.
There are only eight spots available per four week session.

PGD Mentorship
Program
The Stop It Goaltending PDG Mentors Program is an eight week option for College or Professional goaltenders that are committed to excellence. Participants of this program will stay at the Merrimack College dorms and eat at the MC cafeteria. This option includes an additional weekday skate as well as access to off-ice training. Participants of the PGD Mentors program will also assist at the Youth Programs and will receive a $200 weekly stipend. The cost of the PGD Mentors program is in addition to the PGD program.
