Stop It Goaltending Prep/Private School Combine
The Stop It Goaltending Prep/Private School Combine is a four day program for goalies entering the 9th grade. This is a great opportunity for student athlete goaltenders to be evaluated by prep/private school coaches and learn more about the schools and the application process. Fourteen Prep and Private school coaches will be on hand to evaluate the goaltenders throughout the week. The combine will consist of competitive drills on the ice as well as off-ice speed, quickness and agility testing. Goalies will also hear presentations from Prep/Private school coaches each day. Please note that this is a performance oriented week and not a training week.
Exposure tournaments have become very popular as they offer players exposure to schools. It is a great opportunity for coaches as they are able to see many potential athletes in a condensed time frame. At these tournaments, with so many players to evaluate, it is difficult for coaches to spend the appropriate time watching and concentrating on the goalies. The Stop It Goaltending Prep/Private School Combine will offer goalies the undivided attention of coaches and allow the coaches the time to properly evaluate goaltenders on and off the ice.
The Stop It Goaltending Prep/Private School Combine is for goalies entering their freshman year of high school. The combine is invitation only. If you did not receive an invitation and would like to attend please contact the Stop It Goaltending main office at 781-376-9000 to request an invitation. The combine will be held Monday through Thursday, July 5th through the 8th at Phillips Andover Academy and the cost for the week is $495.
